About Us

Established in 2012, Look Around is dedicated to helping the less advantaged. We work with the disabled, orphaned, victims of substance misuse, prisoners and the destitute.

Look Around

The name ‘Look Around’ poses a question, we ask for people to look around and see beyond the threshold of their own lives, to recognise that there are people in great need who are desperate for their help. This issue has given birth to our centralised aim, to connect those who are in need to those who want to help.

Our compassion for the broken is deeply rooted in our Christian values. We believe that every person deserves to be given a hand of help, especially those who have been forgotten and ignored by society. Through this, we aim to restore broken homes, to protect young people from the dark underbelly of society and gift those in desperation with a second chance in life.

We exist to help you, the public, to understand that you have the potential to change somebody’s life. Together we can stop this global struggle and, transform socially excluded communities.

For those who have already made it, we want to encourage to ‘look around’ and see beyond the threshold of their own lives and recognise that there are many people out there in great need and a desperate state whose lives would be greatly impacted by their compassion and practical help; to understand that they have the potential to take part in restoring someone’s destiny!

For those that are still struggling we want to encourage to ‘look around’ and recognise that there is so much to keep fighting for, there is so much that is worth changing your life for, there is hope in every situation and everyone has the opportunity to change who they are.
